T. squamosa (Lamark, 1819)is one of clam species found in waters ofRaja Ampat and other waters area of Indonesia. The size reach 45 cm, with coat color varied, green, blue, chocolate and yellow. The shell like has large scales with large space from one to another. This species has the widest distribution from the other clams.

Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Mollusca, Class Bivalvia, Order Veneroida, Family Tridacnidae, Genus Tridacna.
