Results › Nerita costata

N. costata (Gmelin, 1791) found in coastal area of Raja Ampat. This Mollusca phylum species has turban shape shell with 20-35 mm length. This spiral shell has 12-15 flanks. Inner labia have lumps like teeth, with the biggest one on the posterior tip. This species live in intertidal area and found also in Mangroves area. Besides Raja Ampat, N. costata distributed in coastal of West Indo-Pacific to East Queensland, Australia.
