Results › Nerita planespira

 N. planospira (Anton, 1839) found in coastal area of Raja Ampat. This species classified in Gastropoda which has round hard shell and has concave spire. It also has thin brown coat with dark pink patches. This species has small teeth and notched about 4-5 in the edge of posterior. The operculum was thick, smooth, shine in grey or black color. Many were found in Mangrove near estuary, roots and other hard substrates. N. planospira were also found in other tropical area, i.e. Indo-West Pacific and Queensland Australia.
